At Roaring Wild NZ, I specialise in laser engraving on stainless steel drinkware, including bottles, cups, and tumblers from the most commonly used brands in New Zealand.

All engraving is done in-house and engraved individually. Every item is carefully set up, aligned, engraved, sealed, and washed before it leaves. This is a time-based service, not mass production, and no shortcuts are taken.

While drinkware makes up most of my engraving work, I’m also happy to engrave other suitable items if supplied by the customer.

DRINKWARE ENGRAVING

I engrave stainless steel bottles, cups, and tumblers including:

• YETI
• Stanley
• Huski
• Frank Green
• Hydro Flask
• And similar stainless steel drinkware brands

Drinkware is engraved individually to suit the shape, coating, and placement of each item.

SUPPLYING YOUR DRINKWARE

I do not hold stock of drinkware.

You have two options.

Option 1: I order the item for you (recommended)

Once your order is confirmed, I purchase the item directly from official NZ retailers at current retail pricing to ensure it is genuine and suitable for engraving.

If the item is available online, I can source it.
If you are after a limited edition colour or style, please double-check availability with the brand or retailer before requesting it, as limited releases may sell out quickly.

How payment works
You will receive a product invoice for the item or items.
Once engraving is completed and ready to send, you will receive a separate engraving invoice.

Premium drinkware combined with high-quality laser engraving creates a finished product that reflects both the cost of the item and the time required to engrave it properly.

Option 2: You supply your own item

You are welcome to send an item you already own or have one shipped directly to me.

Customer-supplied drinkware is engraved at the owner’s risk. Engraving is permanent and results can vary depending on coatings, finishes, and materials.

ENGRAVING QUALITY AND DETAIL

Different designs suit different levels of detail. I offer the following options.

2K Engraving

Bold, clean, and slightly more rustic.
Best suited to names, simple logos, and straightforward designs.

4K Engraving

This is the standard resolution for all Roaring Wild NZ pre-designed artwork.
It provides crisp linework with a strong balance between detail and engraving time and suits wildlife designs and most personalised engraving.

8K Engraving

Ultra-fine detail for intricate linework, sketch-style artwork, textures, and highly detailed designs.
This option takes significantly longer to run and is considered a premium finish.

Higher detail engraving requires longer laser runtime, which directly affects engraving cost.

HOW PRICING WORKS

Laser engraving is charged per minute based on actual machine runtime plus setup where applicable.

I can provide a rough time estimate, but final engraving time can vary depending on:

• Material and coating
• Size and placement
• Design complexity
• Engraving resolution

Because of this, estimates are not always exact. Final pricing is based on the actual time once engraving is completed.

This ensures fair and consistent pricing without rushed work to meet fixed quotes.

TIMEFRAME

The standard turnaround time for laser engraving is approximately 2 to 2½ weeks.

This timeframe allows for:

• The drinkware to be ordered and delivered to me
• Engraving to be completed
• Sealing of the engraving
• A full wash and final check before shipment

Timeframes may vary slightly depending on product availability, workload, and design complexity.

HOW IT WORKS

• Get in touch with what you would like engraved and the drinkware brand or item
• I will confirm suitability and provide a rough time estimate if requested
• If I am ordering the drinkware for you, a product invoice is issued
• The item is ordered and delivered to me
• Engraving is completed, sealed, and washed
• An engraving invoice is issued when your item is ready to send

OTHER MATERIALS

While drinkware is my main focus, I can also engrave other customer-supplied items if suitable.

This includes:

• Wood including chopping boards
• Leather
• Acrylic
• Glass
• Tags, plaques, gifts, and keepsakes

FINAL NOTE

Laser engraving is a time-based service. Pricing reflects machine runtime, setup, wear, and experience rather than how simple a design may appear.
